Rhyme choices stay beside your lyric.
Check a suggestion in the voice you perform with
An American English rhyme list can be useful while writing in an Australian voice, but a list cannot hear your vowels or phrasing. Some performers pronounce a final r differently from the dictionary reference; a word may also lose a syllable in a take. Do not change your voice just to make a suggested ending work.
Loop the section of the beat you are writing to, keep the lyric beside the player and record the line at performance speed. When a suggestion sounds unnatural, change the ending or the line itself. Cadence keeps that attempt with the song so you can compare what you wrote with what you actually said.
Try “day”, “away” and “today” at the end of three short lines. Keep the same beat but move the start of each line. Record a relaxed take and a tightly timed take, then choose the phrasing that feels intentional. The exercise checks timing and pronunciation without assuming one Australian accent.
Keep the first take, revise the line and record a second version. Compare the two in the context of the song. You can keep writing in Cadence’s connected songwriting workflow.

Does signing in back up all my recordings?
No. Account sync is not a recording backup. Audio stays on your device unless you share it; keep exports of important recordings and finished work.
Does the free web rhyme finder support every language and accent?
No. The free browser finder currently uses American English pronunciations and a limited original phrase bank. Check results aloud in your own accent. The website tool and the Cadence app use different rhyme engines.
